Volunteering at Northside Community Garden:

One way to get your hands dirty in the gardens is to volunteer.

Whether you decide to help a member with their plot, or get involved in one of our ongoing garden improvement projects, you can be sure your time and energy will be appreciated by all; whether animal, vegetable, or mineral.

Right now, we have a big project: restoring the roof of our garden’s signature cob shed, named “Troth” (betrothal, signifying our partnership with Earth). Troth’s 10-year-old ‘living roof’ must be removed, and resealed with a new rubber membrane. If you like heights… then this is the project for you, if you don’t, there are many other opportunities to get involved. Just click on “Leave a Reply” below, and log-in to post your contact info (you can set up a “post only” account with WordPress). We’ll will get right back to you.

Thanks for your interest!
